~ BACKGROUND ~
Healthcare Foundation Northern Sonoma County
is a tax exempt non-profit [501(c)(3)] organization which raises funds
for capital projects in support of healthcare in northern Sonoma County
including funds necessary to the development, implementation and protection
of such projects. In addition to its ongoing campaign, the Foundation
holds annual fundraising events. Proceeds support Healdsburg District
Hospital, Alliance Medical Center and other worthy healthcare institutions.
Vines
& Wines
The first Dinner and Auction was held in 2000 and each year Vines &
Wines has grown to become the premier Benefit Weekend in Sonoma County.
The committee members chose the name from influences on our community:
"Vines" is a metaphor for the strong roots in our lives such
as family, health, etc.; "Wines" being a metaphor for the amazing
end results when those vines are cultivated with great care.
